Climate Change in Small Island Developing States (SIDS)
Developed under the Community Resilience Building Project (Canadian Red Cross/Global Affairs Canada), this online course introduces the reasons for SIDS’ vulnerability. It is designed to help persons
build knowledge of climate change, climate hazards, and the risk and vulnerabilities to Caribbean communities,
gain an understanding of the global impacts and importance of climate change and incorporate climate change adaptation considerations into their daily lives and planning processes.
Public Awareness and Public Education (PAPE)
The PAPE e-library, developed under the Community Resilience Building Project (Canadian Red Cross/Global Affairs Canada), is a multi-hazard tool that hosts risk communication materials for National Societies to create quick and easy to disseminate materials for Disaster Preparedness. This tool should continue to grow with the expansion and use of more hazards from the original Public Awareness and Public Education IFRC Guidance.
